The youtube channel of the franchise, Girl Friend has put online the 1st episode of Girl Friend Note (Girl Friend (♪), a web anime series of 3 episodes of 8 minutes. The series is based on the games Girl Friend BETA.
This episode will be available for free until the 22nd November 2016.
The story of Girl Friend Note takes place on the final day of the National Dance Battle Royal where by coincidence the members of two groups, idols to rivals, "the Phoenix" and "nonet" will be participating in a piece of theatre based on the story of Cinderella where Momoko Asahina (Yui Ogura) is going to be Cinderella and Miyabi Kunishiro the Prince.
animation by Encourage Films the direction is Daisuke Tsukushi (Maria Watches Over Us), the argument that is Michiko Yokote (ReLIFE, Mr. Osomatsu) and the character design is Sakae Shibuya (Kimi ni Todoke 2).
