With the death of the Galaxy Note 7, Samsung decided to focus its attention on the Galaxy S7 launched at the beginning of the year. Some believed that Samsung had plans to speed up production of the Galaxy S8 and bring its new flagship to market quicker, but this will not happen. In this way, rumors that the company could offer discounts on the purchase of the S8 for those who had problem with the Note 7.
Now according to the website The Korea Economic Daily, the Galaxy S8 may be able to leave totally free for some customers of the company who have passed through the two processes of recall and had to stay with the Galaxy S7 in place of the phablet of the company. Samsung would be seeking to compensate for the loyalty of these customers to shoot down fully or almost fully the cost of exchange for the Galaxy S8.
This benefit would be part of the Galaxy Club, a club where they take part owners of smartphones of the Galaxy line, which usually receive discounts from the company on the purchase of accessories for official. With the launch of the Galaxy S8, these members that have gone through the process of recall of the Galaxy Note 7 will have a strong reason to remain loyal to the company.
