Always On the Display of the Note 7 comes to the S7 – Observer

The south Korean company has faced many problems after the release of the problematic Galaxy Note 7, that turned out to be discontinued due to problems with the battery.

Despite all of the controversy surrounding the Note 7, this was a smartphone that brought new features in the operating system that accompanied it – TouchWiz, the adaptation of the Samsung to the Android. Now that the top of the range of the line came back to be the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge, the company decided to bring these models an improvement on a feature they already had, the Always On Display – that allows you to keep a part of the screen always turned on, with a low consumption of energy, where it is possible to have access to various notifications, to hours, etc.

The update brought new formats (themes) of this feature, as well as more options for customization. You can change the clock color, add a phrase or an image to choose and to know which music is being played. It was an update that brings more freedom to the user to leave the smartphone with a more personal touch.

Although Samsung has imported some features of Note 7, these have not come all to the eldest brother of the model problematic. With the new update, only the missed calls and received messages appear on the screen, as was already the case in the models of the range S. On the smartphone now discontinued, it was possible to display a greater number of notifications, as well as interact with the same from the Always On Display.

According to the site Android Authority, the Samsung claimed that this feature, now, spends less than 1% of battery per hour.
