The official website Death Note: Light up the NEW world revealed that Tori Matsuzaka will be playing a character named Bepo, a new Shinigami and the original owner of the Death Note that is now with Mishima (Masahiro Higashide).
Death Note: Light up the NEW world, a continuation of the two live action movies based on the manga Death Note, a society that is highly advanced is threatened by cyber terrorism. In the midst of this confusion, the successors of Light and the detective L are going to enter in war by the six Death Notes in the Land.
The film will bring Masaki Suda as Yuki Shien, a ciberterrorista that worships Kira; how he Ikematsu as Ryuzaki, the successor of L and a world-famous detective; Masahiro Higashide as Tsukuru Mishima, an investigator tries to find out more about the Death Notes; Rina Kawaei as Sakura Aoi, the user of the Death note the most terrible that ever existed and kills indiscriminately; Mina Fujii Sho Nanase, a researcher from the Task Force of the Death Notes; Erika toda as Misa Amane; and Shidou Nakamura as Ryuk.
Death Note: Light up the NEW world debut on October 29 in Japan.
