The performance of the Meizu M3 Note | speed Test-the official … – Tudocelular.com

The M3 Note landed in Brazil by the hands of the ViStation still in September of last year, with hardware powerful for the mid-range and aggressive price. The device is not the latest of its line, being succeeded by M5 Note in the international market, but features almost the same technical specifications of its successor, differing only in the version of the operating system and in design.

After doing a quick unboxing and take away our first impressions of the M3 Note, we have also done a full battery test, including a pattern of use that was repeated throughout the day in real-time and multiple experiments specific to see how the device came out. Now, the time has come to find out if in addition to an autonomy that is reasonable you’ll be able to also a satisfactory performance by purchasing the phablet chinese.

Android 19 Jan

The M3 Note brings with it a set of reasonable technical specifications, including a screen IPS LCD screen of 5.5 inches with Full HD resolution, chipset MediaTek MT6755 Helio P10 with eight cores at up to 1.8 GHz and GPU ARM Mali-T860. It is sold in two versions, one with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage while the other account with 3GB of RAM and double the storage, both with the possibility of expansion via microSD card slot hybrid.

Will be that this set is really enough to provide a good performance? Is what we will discover now!.

Test speed

our first test consists in measuring how much time the M3 Note takes to open a dozen apps. In the selected list we have apps for Camera, Gallery and Settings, while others have been downloaded, such as Facebook, WhatsApp, Chrome, Netflix, Spotify, Photoshop Mix, Pokémon Go and Asphalt 8.

The opening was performed exactly in this order, counting the time from the moment the stopwatch was started and being made a marking to the end of the first cycle, to see if the second step would be performed more quickly, since all the apps and games theoretically would be stored in RAM.

In the first step of the M3 Note, have demonstrated not go very well, taking a true eternity to open both games, which made him finish the first cycle with a long 2 minutes and 45 seconds. As the model that we use account with only 2GB of RAM, it was expected that he would not come out very well on the second lap, and it was exactly what we saw.

when you try To redeem the apps that should be running in the background, the device of the Meizu failed most of the times, managing to keep just apps simpler and needing to reload all the rest. Due to this, he completed the second lap with 2 minutes and 16 seconds, thus totaling an incredible 5 minutes and 1 second as the end time of the test.

AnTuTu

Passing the tests of the theoretical, we begin by the well-known and always sought to AnTuTu, where the M3 Note presented a good brand of 46.288 points. With this, the device managed to overcome rivals such as the Moto G4, ZenFone 3 Max and Vibe K6 Plus, demonstrating that at least “brute force” it goes very well.

GeekBench

On the GeekBench the situation was not much different, at least in the test of the CPU of the tool. Here, the M3 Note marked good 702 points in single-core and 2.240 points in multi-core, managing to overcome with some margin several of their rivals.

In the test GPU tool, however, we just had to 1.244 points, this being a score below that expected for their price range and that worry a little bit about the performance in games and other graphical applications.

3D Mark

In 3D Mark, was indicated for the unit test Sling Shot Extreme, which takes into account the GPU and done renderings of various types of image in high definition, trying to “stress” the card and see how it goes. Here, interestingly, the M3 Note came back to surprise in a positive way, reaching the mark of 328 points.

GFX Bench

finally, we have the GFX Bench, which has a wide range of options for testing. Picking up the most well-known of them, Manhattan and T-Rex, we had marks up to satisfactory for a Full HD screen, being found to 7 fps in the first and 16 fps in the second, which is basically the same found in other models in this category.

it is Worth noting here that interestingly the device showed different results in the tests onscreen and offscren in the T-Rex, something that should not happen since it has a display Full HD.

Games

finally, the gaming performance, we used the Game’s Bench to measure the average rate of frames per second displayed on the device. Starting with Asphalt 8, take a real fright to find a fluidity incredibly below what we had experienced in other models, being something similar to what was seen in the test with the M2 Note, which indicates that the problem may be in the optimization (or lack of) on the part of the Meizu in your interface.

In Modern Combat 5, on the other hand, the situation proved to be much more favourable, being achieved to a good average of 29 fps during its execution time. Finally, we have the Subway Surfers as a representative of the securities is more basic, being he runs with good 56 fps, which may not be an average as good as in other devices but it must satisfy a large part of the users.

And you, what do you think of the Meizu M3 Note? Tell us here! Further testing with the device will be published in the course of the next few days, so if you are interested it is good to keep an eye on TudoCelular.com and also on our YouTube channel.
