But this is only a part of the legacy for the phablet of Samsung: from 31 January Samsung will release a software update that has as main goal to prevent these equipment from being loaded. This update will have as its radius the Galaxy Note 7 that were marketed in Europe, established the Exame Informática.
The Samsung does not mention how many of these phones XXL are still in use in Portugal, against all the warnings and incentives that have been released since the launch of the first programmes of replacement and collection of the equipment. It is known that the Galaxy Note 7 was exhausted already at the stage of booking – and these orders may have contributed to the sales of this phablet would be three times higher than the sales of predecessor Galaxy S6 edge +. In spite of a demand well above average, there is a factor that will have helped reduce the number of consumers who actually received a Galaxy Note 7: the first campaign of the collection of machines, which had as its purpose replacing the batteries defective, was launched on 2 September – but the delivery of the terminals was as the day of reference September 9.
