Galaxy Note 7 should return to Europe in November – SAPO Tek

The saga of "Note 7 explosives" has not yet reached the end of the line. The new (and secure) versions of the phablets that walked “by the mouths of the world” in the last few weeks are starting to return to shelves after they arrived on the north american market this week, by the hand of Verizon.

Despite the Samsung having the ambition to re-sell the Galaxy Note 7 in all european markets by the end of November, the reality may not be this.

Quoted by Reuters, David Lowes, marketing director of Samsung Europe, says that it is expected that by the end of November the new Galaxy Note 7 are again available for sale in all the markets of the Old Continent. However, given that the media problem with batteries forced the company to recover around 2.5 million smartphones already sold in all over the world, the full return to normality in Europe can be more time-consuming, and extender by 2017 within.

Since the 19th of September, that the technology of Seoul is to proceed to the collection of Galaxy Note 7, under a program of voluntary exchange. However, still only in the United States can already receive the new phones.

In Europe, the greater part of the Galaxy Note 7 defective were shipped to France, England and Germany.

On the 21st of September, Samsung has issued a software update that urges the users of Galaxy Note 7 with batteries is potentially dangerous to turn off the device. In addition, and as a "better safe than sorry", this update limits the battery charging to 60%.

it is worth recalling that on the 28th of September these infamous phablets come back to be sold in the market christmas in South Korea.

Despite all the controversy generated around these devices, Samsung told ZDNet that the various reported incidents such as alleged failures of the Galaxy Note 7 are fake.
