After the problems with the smartphone Galaxy Note 7, Samsung now faces some setbacks with the washing machines. A firm of lawyers in the United States sued the brand’s south Korean due to some issues with equipment that can put at risk the safety of consumers.
Samsung has already confirmed that some of the machines with greater load capacity, produced between march 2011 and April 2016, may be affected by this problem – but only the models sold in the United States. According to the company, "in rare cases, the affected units of experiencing abnormal vibrations that can mean a risk to the consumer and to the appliance, during the wash process".
Although not disclose the name of the affected models, Samsung offers a site where the consumer, if you have purchased a machine in the United States, you must enter the serial number and check if the machine you purchased is the one that may give problems.
According to statements from the company lawyers, some machines had this problem on the day they were installed while others have only suffered from the same thing at the end of some months, or even, at the end of more than a year after the purchase and the installation.
Until now the brand hasn’t yet made no decision about how you will respond to this situation. For now, the advice given is the same as the effect the washes in the programme for delicate parts up to be announced any solution on the part of Samsung.
