[ Samsung updates Galaxy Note II ]
still gets Android 4.1.2 update, but fixes some bugs and promises longer battery life

Samsung initiated a comprehensive software update for the Galaxy Note II. Unfortunately this update also includes version 4.1.2 of Android Jelly Bean and not the long-awaited 4.2.2, but Samsung said that it is necessary because of bug fixes and other minor problems such as battery consumption, will be corrected.
version of Android 4.2.2 is planned for a period between July and September and will bring new interface Galaxy S4, along with new “features” to the device. The update is available for many countries in Europe and can be done via KIES or OTA (over the air).
