Reported about a week back que Android 4.2 update for Galaxy Note 2 had reportedly been delayed. The reason behind this delay was apparently que Samsung wanted to test out the latest version of the TouchWiz bit more on the device. Today Samsung has started rolling OUT A new update for Galaxy Note 2, though its stability Merely a minor update and it does not bring the much awaited Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS. Retains the Today’s update to Android OS version 4.1.2.
Mentioned previously, this update is purely related to stability improvements. It brings a host of bug fixes, including but not limited to Those related to battery drain, as well as fixes for a number of other minor issues. Carrying a build date of May 31, this update is already available for download in most European countries through Samsung KIES or over-the-air on the device itself. It can not be said for sure right now When or if this update will be released for U.S. customers. Samsung has said que Android 4.2.2 for Galaxy Note 2 will be released in Q3, 2013, though a specific release date has not been provided.
