‘s Google I / O 2013 keynote may be done, but que que does not mean the company is done making news. The company took to its official Twitter Google Wallet account que tonight to announce the Wallet app is now available to the trio of smartphones and Sprint as well as an additional U.S. Cellular device. The list of newly-compatible Sprint Consists of the 4 Samsung Galaxy S, Samsung Galaxy Note II and HTC One, while U.S. Cellular’s newest Wallet-capable device is its flavor of the Samsung Galaxy Note II.
Sprint has Google Wallet preloaded on a number of its products in the past and was actually one of the service’s first partners, so it’s no surprise to see Wallet being added to more of the Now Network’s hardware. It is still a welcome sight, though, que Especially since the products are being added are high-profile devices like the Galaxy S 4 One and U.S. Cellular’s list of Wallet-compatible hardware is somewhat smaller, Consisting of just the Galaxy S III and Galaxy Axiom, but the Galaxy Note II is a solid addition to the list.
The addition of Google Wallet support for four new devices may not seem like a huge news, but the list of compatible hardware-Wallet contains less than 20 devices, so this quartet of new products is a pretty big deal. Also it feels like it’s been a while since we’ve seen any hardware-related announcements Wallet, Which makes today’s news even more exciting. Here’s to hoping que it’s not long before we see the list of supported products Wallet-grow again.
