São Paulo – Galaxy Note 8.0 is already on sale in Brazil. The new tablet is the bet of Samsung in the fight with the iPad mini, Apple (still not officially sold in the country) and the Nexus 7, Google – who came to Brazil in late April for a thousand dollars.

Despite costing 600 dollars more than the competitor of Google, the product has advantages as twice the RAM (2 GB), 3G connection and front and rear cameras 5 MP and 1.3 MP respectively. The Nexus only has a front camera of 5 MP and only have access to the internet via Wi-Fi

In addition, the Galaxy Note 8.0 weighs 338 grams and operates with Bluetooth and USB 2.0 4. The operating system is Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean.

Like the Galaxy Note 10.1, the eight-inch model also features the S Pen. Now, the digital pen works even without direct contact with the screen. According to the company, the news makes editing photos, one of the functions of the product.

Billed as “a tablet that lets you create and produce content”, the Galaxy Note 8.0 also has applications like ChatOn ( for instant messaging) and Flipboard (consecrated news aggregator) – among others. The device can also be used as telephone or e-reader.
