The Samsung initiated discussions with Brazilian banks to start offering local support to the iris scanner Galaxy Note 7. The biometric sensor of the new phablet is expected to become another form of secure login in financial institutions in the country applications, beside the use of fingerprints on the phone.

The aim is to popularize the use of iris as a protected authentication so users in bank apps. Alternative would be more reliable than the digital player and can work even with glasses and contact lenses.
The iris sensor note 7 is one of the highlights of the new device, which is also the first line with body waterproof and curved screen on the sides.
