Samsung launches new version of the Galaxy Note to conquer the lost market share in the second quarter. Note 4 has a 5.7 inch screen, the largest on the market.

Samsung showed last night a new version of the Galaxy Note. The Galaxy Note 4 has a screen of 5.7 inches and a thickness of 8.5 mm, which is an industry record and puts the ‘smartphone’ Samsung ever closer to a tablet.

Note 4 The screen has a resolution of 2560 x 1440 (515 ppi), one of the highest in the industry and includes a fingerprint reader like the Galaxy S5. The ‘smartphone’ comes equipped with a 32 GB memory, expandable, has 4G LTE technology, which allows downloading content at higher speed, and GPS and Wifi connection. The 16-megapixel camera lets you shoot at a resolution of 4608×3456 pixels and record videos in full HD with a resolution of 3840×2160 pixels.

Note 4 is seen as the key to recovery image from Samsung whose smartphones were considered too large to make calls. After the release of the Note, in 2011, the company vocacionou phones with five or more inches for reading, writing texts or email, and using applications, watching movies or games, rather than in making phone calls.

Analysts quoted by Reuters say that this version of the Note, despite having hundreds of resources and the latest innovations in hardware, will hardly surprise consumers.

The operating result Samsung fell to the lowest level in the last two years in the second quarter of this year and the technology is losing market share, which does not prevent him from continuing to sell almost two thirds of all mobile phones sold worldwide.

The poor results can be explained in part due to the behavior of the Galaxy S5, released in April and seems to have disappointed consumers. Counterpoint analysts, consultant in the field of information technology, say the telephone from Samsung star was eventually surpassed in sales by iPhone 5S in May, despite the Apple phone is a much older equipment.
