Samsung just announced two major releases:. 4 the Galaxy Note and the Galaxy Note Edge. Could be very similar, but differ in a crucial point in the design:.’s Screen
Unlike Note 4 (and conventional screens), the Edge has a lateral curvature that allows the user to view information on the device even when it is on its side and with a cover. Depending on the application, can be presented in that space menu icons, notifications and even video playback controls, for example.
The Edge Screen, is a Super AMOLED screen of 5.6 inches with resolution of 2560 × 1440 pixels (with the addition of over 160 pixels on the side, totaling, therefore 2560 × 1600 pixels).
The launch of the Galaxy Note Edge is scheduled for later this year, but only in some markets, while the Galaxy Note 4 will be released worldwide.
