Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo Will Launch Globally - Know Your Mobile

Contrary to an earlier statement to TechRadar made by Samsung spokesperson, the Galaxy Note 3 Neo will be coming to the UK after all.

Samsung has now officially Announced the phablet revealing the “worldwide” launch starting next month, According to multiple reports.

There are actually two versions of the phone, the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo and the Samsung Galaxy Note LTE Neo 3 +, both of Which were officially unveiled by Samsung Poland.

As per previous rumors, the Note 3 Neo is a more affordable iteration of the stylus-toting Galaxy Note 3.

According to reports, the Galaxy Note 3 Neo’s proportions are virtually identical to the regular Note 3, it has not put on any weight or thickness to speak of and sports the same soft-touch faux leather backing. It is a little more compact on the vertical and horizontal, however.

That means the Super AMOLED display has shrunk a wee bit, it’s down to 5.5-inches (the size of the screen’s Note 2) rather than the Note’s 5.7-3 inches. Also the resolution has taken a hit down to 720p rather than 1080p.

Meanwhile

instead of the 13-megapixel camera with 4K video capture you get an 8-megapixel camera with 1080p capture setup.

Naturally the two different models have different processor configurations. The LTE model + uses hexa-core setup with a dual-core 1.7GHz ARM Cortex-A15 unit on top of a 1.3 GHz quad-core Cortex-A7. The regular variant, Which supports HSPA + 3G, has a 1.6GHz quad-core Cortex-A7 configuration. Each setup has 2GB of RAM, 16GB of onboard storage (with 11GB user accessible) and microSD support.

Apart from this it has the usual raft of connectivity options, including Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, as well as NFC. Android 4.3 Jelly Bean runs the show with TouchWiz on top.

Of course the spec Reductions are to make this handset more affordable, although we do not know anything about prices yet. Samsung said the Note has not explicity 3 Neo will be available in the UK, but again, this is being branded as a “global” release.

The Note 3 Neo will be available in black, white and green.

Lastly, the specs Despite taking a hit in some areas, the battery remains robust – it’s a 3,100 mAh removable unit. Nice.
