Remember: Xiaomi sells 800,000 Redmi Note 2 in 12 hours – Pplware

Last week Xiaomi presented some new technologies that will mark certainly the second half of 2015. In addition to a new router that costs only 11 € and that fits in the palm, the company also announced the new Redmi Note 2 smartphone will cost about 112 € and has almost the specifications of a flagship.

The demand for this new smartphone was such that in just 12 hours, the company sold 800 000 copies.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 is the successor to Redmi Note and stands out for having a 5.5 “screen FullHD, the new MT6795 SoC Helio X10 eight-core , 2 GB RAM and 16 GB of internal storage memory . It should be noted that the SoC is the same as is present, for example, M9 + Flagship.

This equipment maintains construction polycarbonate, and on the right side has the physical buttons to control volume and lock . The Xiaomi released three versions of Redmi Note 2, and the Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 Prime comes with a 2.2 GHz SoC and 32GB of Flash.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 was so successful that in just 12 hours, the company sold 800 000 units having exhausted the stock (apparently is the new smartphone sales record in such a short time) . The equipment will again be on sale from August 24 but it is not known how many units will be available.

According with some performance testing that have been made, this new machine beats a set of “super” smartphones such as the HTC One M8, Samsung and LG G3 S5.
