LG registers the name G4 Note indicating that the rival Galaxy Note 5 … – Tudocelular.com

During the MWC 2015, which took place in March, the CEO of LG, Mr. Cho Juno, revealed that the South Korean manufacturer had plans to bring two flagships for the market, with a More traditional model and other premium with neat finishing and cutting-edge hardware. The first can be considered the G4 which is already available on the market a few months ago. So the fancier version was expected for the second half of the year.

Last week, in an interview with the Korean media, the CEO of LG returned to talk about this second product of the company. Unfortunately, he did not actually go into detail about the device’s hardware or some new feature released by the company. As was commented that it will be larger than the company’s current flagship and will come with stylus. Thus, the CEO made it clear that the phablet will come to fight with the Galaxy Note iPhone 5 and 6s Plus. But will not have a body made of metal as claimed earlier this year.

The product name was still a mystery, but we have seen rumors about the return of G Pro line. It was also commented that LG could adopt something close to his great rival Samsung, releasing the first device of the Note line, which is a souped version of G4. Thus we see now the company register the name G4 Note ‘confirming’ previous rumors about the product.

Now that the name G4 Note was recorded at the USPTO, famous office records of trademarks and patents, it is clear that the launch is near? In fact, we do not know. We have not seen full details of the new. Just checked the first tests that were performed with NUCLUN in its second generation, which could be the chipset to be used in this product. However, this hardware will not be ready in 2015, which may indicate that the G4 Note will take or LG plans to invest in a solution from Qualcomm.

In any case, we expect the G4 Note bring advances on top of what was offered in the G4 and does not happen as the Galaxy Note 5 which brought differential with respect to the Galaxy S6 only the S Pen, a larger screen and 1 GB more of RAM. Speaking of memory, it is virtually certain that the LG phablet also come up with this amount, but the chipset is still the great mystery surrounding this release. The better the company bet on the Snapdragon 810 or continue with the 808, if the NUCLUN 2 does not arrive in time?
