Comparison: Galaxy Note vs iPhone Edge 6 – Tudocelular.com

The iPhone 6 is the best smartphone that Apple has in hand today, without considering that the iPhone 6 Plus is exactly the same device in higher resolution screen. To fight him for the title of this comparison, I took the best device that exists in the Note line, which is the Note Edge – at least before the launch of the next model, which should occur during the API this year, in Berlin.

design

There are pretty big differences on both sides, especially when the curved screen to direct Note Edge is in evidence. The iPhone 6 is the one that goes with this comparative whole body made of aluminum – taking the parts where there are connectors and antennas that are plastic, small points of light gray plastic. None of the devices is of great reference when footprint, but the Note Edge can be the worst because of the curved screen, which takes more than half the thickness of the right side and thus ends up removing a party where your fingers go do strength to lift the cell of the table. The iPhone 6 has slightly rounded edges and it is also bad, as much as the metal present slightly rough texture, but not rough enough to hold everything in place. Honestly, at this point, you both lose.

Hardware

Note Edge bet on a quad-core processor, which is a Snapdragon 805 running at 2.7 GHz, accompanied by 3GB of RAM, GPU Adreno 420 and 32 GB or 64 GB of internal space. The iPhone 6 shows a chip A8 processor that delivers a Cyclone dual-core 1.4 GHz, accompanied by 1 GB of RAM, GPU PowerVR GX6450 and options of 16 GB, 64 GB and 128 GB internal memory and, unlike the Note Edge there is no room for a microSD. In figures it seems that the Note Edge passes a performance truck on the iPhone, but the difference is not as absurd as well. In everyday apps, the Note Edge opened faster Facebook and Instagram, but the iPhone could first open Twitter and presented a much more fluid scrolling bar than in the Note Edge. Opening the Real Racing 3 Note the Edge first loaded the game, but a difference of less time than in previous apps. In some rare occasions, the Note Edge had a frame rate per second less than the iPhone. Winner? Usually, we bet on the Edge Note.

Camera

The iPhone 6 vastly improved the quality of the rear camera when its predecessor, without touching the number of megapixels . There are still 8 megapixels to 16 megapixels Note Edge. The end result is higher in Samsung’s smartphone in any scenario, but the iPhone can win time to offer a faster interface – just tap and the picture is taken without the need to hold on for some time, as required by Note Edge in night shots. Because of a friendlier interface, the iPhone 6 is the winner here.

Conclusion

The Galaxy Note Edge hit the market with airs of superiority because of the curved screen to the side, which is really beautiful and well presented. He, unfortunately, is still in Android 4.4, even with the Android 5.1 version already in the hands of developers and manufacturers. On the other hand, the Edge has the optimal pen S Pen, which goes much further than just a pen to touch the screen. It even comes with some interesting apps like Office suite and cloud storage, but there are a bunch of apps that could be uninstalled in fact and not just deactivated. As the cost of Note Edge is less than the most basic version of the iPhone 6, which delivers half the internal memory, the Note Edge is our winner – even with the nagging feeling of abandonment by Samsung delayed Android account.
