The Xiaomi Mi Note Pro successor may come with MediaTek chipset … – Tudocelular.com

Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 has been used in large releases of the year as the HTC One M9, G Flex 2 and Mi Note Pro. The chipset has come under fire due to Overheating reports. However, the model of Xiaomi recently launched so far not presented any problem, since it has a revised version featuring better performance and more controlled heating. However, a Taiwanese source suggests that the Chinese giant plans to bet on something different for the Mi Note Pro successor, leaving Qualcomm aside and making a new partnership with MediaTek to adopt the recently announced Helio X20 .

The MediaTek announced that its new chip with 10 cores can be 30% more efficient than other solutions with only eight processing units. Do not know if this information is really real yet, but the company showed earlier that your solution can work much more coldly than the Snapdragon 810 -. Especially when used for gaming

The site DigiTimes earlier said that several companies would be interested in Helio X20 to compose their high-end products, and the Xiaomi was one of them. If this rumor really is right, then we can expect LG , HTC and Sony also invest in MediaTek and Qualcomm leave aside until firm have something new to the smartphone market.

Xiaomi was born five years ago to bring good quality products with fair prices. She started with simple models and more limited hardware, but has been launching increasingly powerful devices without charging a fortune for it. The Mi Note Pro is a great example, it relies on Quad HD screen, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of internal space and powerful camera, charging much less than rivals that offer hardware even more basic than this. With this, the successor of Mi Note Pro should be even more interesting with its 10 processing cores.

While Helio X20 comes with lithography 20nm , Qualcomm may break for 14nm with Snapdragon 820 to close a possible partnership with Samsung. With such a product on the market, perhaps the tech giants return to bet their chips on the Snapdragon line, but for now, MediaTek want to take advantage of it and attract as many manufacturers for their side.
