Comparison: Galaxy Note Edge vs Galaxy Note 4 – Tudocelular.com

The Samsung finally began to change its production line and it started with the curved screen of the Galaxy Note Edge, which employed a lot of what worked in the Galaxy Note 4 and was born with another name. We put one facing the other and we list their similarities and differences, especially considering the cost-benefit of a unique technology, which is the curved screen. Vale take the Note 4 and save, or give to skip to the Edge and have something more premium?

design

At this point the two smartphones are very similar, both with the back that mimics leather (it’s plastic), aluminum edges angled at the tip which ensures an extra shine, space for S Pen, big screen, and the only difference is the position of the on / off switch which in Note Edge is on the apparatus and in Note 4 is on the side. The screen goes to Edge edge hinders the footprint and leave the camera app and confused, impractical. While the Note 4 is more comfortable, the Edge is more unique and more beautiful.

Hardware

There are almost no differences between the two sides, but in the Brazil Galaxy Note 4 only came with a Exynos processor and let the version with Snapdragon, which has exactly the same technical data that the Edge Note from outside. The Note 4 has a Exynos 5433 quad-core processor that runs at 1.3 GHz and four others at 1.9 GHz with 3 GB of RAM and a GPU Mali-T760. The Note Edge will the same amount of RAM, but uses a Snapdragon 805 quad-core running at 2.7 GHz and a GPU Adreno 420. In everyday apps, the Galaxy Note 4 provides some extra speed, but something very small and does not disturb the life of his brother lateral curve. Gaming performance is the same, with Asphalt 8 running well on both sides.

Camera

The two cameras have exactly the same sensor 16 megapixels and filming in 4K, with front camera of 3.7 megapixels. The result is the same for photos with good lighting: great color reproduction and a very smart way to deal with the HDR. In darker picture with less light environments, the Galaxy Note 4 achieved a result almost nothing superior, but enough to display fewer granules. Overall the two cameras are identical.

Conclusion

The Galaxy Note Edge is basically a Note 4 with curved screen and without many amazing features to this screen greater. The performance and the camera have the same results, there is the same amount of RAM, but the battery Note Edge lasts a little less. Joining a battery of shorter duration and higher price, our champion is the Note 4, especially the most cost friendly.
