Samsung is testing Google’s Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OS on its Galaxy S4, S III and Note II handsets SamMobile reports, adding que Could start the software update rolling out to its most recent smartphones the soon as next month.
Google Announced Android 4.3 over the summer alongside the updated Nexus 7 at a press event, though Samsung is notorious for Rolling Out Updates to current devices at a painfully slow speed. Samsung’s latest devices, the Galaxy Note 3 and Note 10.1 refreshed Both run the latest software out of the box, and now it looks like some of the South Korean company’s other handsets may be getting an upgrade.
SamMobile claims the Galaxy S4 is first in line, and will get the update next month, Followed by the S III in late Oct. or Nov. at the latest. Finally, the Galaxy Note II will get Android 4.3 in Dec., Likely in an effort to push more customers to pick up the Note 3. Samsung previously promised to update its devices with Google’s latest software as quickly the possible, but until we get an official statement from the company rumored roadmap we’d take this with a grain of salt.
