Lei Jun has provided some pretty impressive numbers on unit sales. According to the CEO, it exceeded the expectations of the company itself, which hoped to have a number of sales of 800 000 units until the 5th of September. But things were much better than expected, since the device reached the range of 1.5 million units sold on that date.
Since then the number of sales began to increase positively, reaching 15.2 million units sold only nine days later, on September 14. That figure is a record for the Xiaomi and the company is now confident that it will continue to grow in the coming months. This means that the goal of selling 10 million Redmi Note 2 to the end of the year can be achieved, since sales tend to increase with the arrival of the end of the year.
