According to The Verge, Samsung claims to have seen a “significant increase” of the Galaxy Note 5 sales, Galaxy S6 Edge +, Galaxy A and Galaxy J.
Although it has sold more smartphones mid-range, cutting the tops of the range Galaxy S6 and S6 + contributed to a decrease in profits of the mobile segment, compared to the same period last year.
In an attempt to ‘convert’ users from iPhones, Samsung cut the price of the new Galaxy, coming to offer to American consumers, 110 euros by switching devices.
Samsung’s decision to launch the Note 5 in August, a month earlier than usual, seems to have had in the profits of the mobile division.
