Written by double Tsugumi Oba and Takeshi Obata , the manga follows the story of Light Yagami, high school student who discovers a supernatural notebook, which causes the death of anyone who has your name written on it. Light then tries to eliminate all criminals and create a world where there is no evil, but their plans are thwarted by L, the largest private detective in the world.
The film from Warner Bros. will be based on the first three volumes of ‘ Death Note ‘, published in Brazil by JBC publisher
