Sprint updated its customer support page Friday (Nov. 22) to check the release date of the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 software update. The wireless carrier’s changelog for the Galaxy Note 2 Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update now Reveals November 22.
Ubergizmo reports, the official Android 4.3 Jelly Bean over-the-air (OTA) rollout for the Sprint Galaxy Note 2 Began Wednesday, November 20. This date coincides with what the Which Sprint customer page originally stated, those shown in the snapshot posted on Sprint’s customer forum.
It’s unknown if Sprint is experiencing a hiccup with the rollout as a result of the OTA rollout associated with another Samsung device, the Galaxy S3. The Samsung Announced Thursday, the Jelly Bean Android 4.3 update for the Sprint Galaxy S3 is now available for Sprint and being pushed out to devices.
The software update is Rolling Out in phases 2 and many Galaxy Note owners are anxious to receive the enhancements. The Android 4.3 Jelly Bean software update brings improvements to the user experience Note 2, along with Samsung Galaxy Gear Knox compatibility and security.
Galaxy Note 2 owners are Also looking forward to some features que have so far been exclusive to the Note 3 such as Air Command Window and Pen. It’s unconfirmed if any of the 3 new Galaxy Note S Pen features will be included with the new 4.3 Jelly Bean update for the Note 2.
