According to the website the Wrap, Warner released the producers to negotiate the project and several studios were interested. They gave no details of the agreement with Netflix, but adaptation should keep the format that was already in development, bringing to the screen the first three volumes of the work in comics, with Jeremy Slater script (the controversial “Fantastic Four”), direction Adam Wingard ( “You is Next”) and Nat Wolff ( “the Fault in Our stars”) in the lead role.

Soon, the boy begins to use the notebook to kill criminals, calling the attention of the police.
