Recently checked a video showing Android Lollipop running on the Galaxy Note 4. Thus, we concluded that the update would be close to being launched by the company. The expected date pointed to January 2015, but behold leaks the first build for both company phablet as to its exotic version with curved screen.

As can be seen in the images below, both rely on the version more current Android. That is, the Samsung jumped the initial build 5.0 and left soon for 5.0.1 update , which fixes several bugs found in the Nexus line, especially related to Wi-Fi that consuming battery.

Note 4 has been updated to baseband N910FXXU that brings the kernel 3:10:40. This update is for the model with Snapdragon 805 sold in other countries. We have no Lollipop news for the variant with Exynos 5433. Already Note Edge has the version N915SKS and comes with older kernel, 3.10.9.

Normally first countries to receive a Samsung update are the Poland and Russian . After all bugs, or at least the most critical, being exterminated, the company launches the update to other countries. Thus, we can expect that in early January the Galaxy Note 4 win their official update to Android Lollipop.
