Galaxy Note surpasses iPhone 4 Plus 6 tests in mesh quality – iG Technology

The renowned consultorida DisplayMate published on Wednesday (19) a comparison test between the screens of some of the most sophisticated devices in the market. And the winner was 4 Galaxy Note, Samsung, which has a screen with better color fidelity, according to the consultancy.

The test also included the iPhone 6 Plus S Galaxy Tab 10.5, iPad 2 Air, Surface Pro 3 and Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 devices, all with excellent results in previous tests of the company. The laboratory test measured the performance on five criteria: display the entire spectrum of color, skin color (for people of various ethnic groups), organic colors (flowers, animals, plants and other elements of nature), blue and region absolute white.

Galaxy Note 4 led in four of the categories, and only in the region of Blue was third. The second test was placed Surface Pro 3, followed by the Galaxy Tab 10.1, Kindle Fire HDX, iPhone 6 and iPad Air Plus 2.

Future screens

In the final part of the study, the DisplayMate indicates what needs to advance the manufacturing technology of current screens. According to the company, the main challenge is to improve the performance of the screens when they’re outdoors in sunlight.

The DisplayMate says that a solution to this problem is to implement features automatic compensation of the screen colors depending on the environment. The current screens can even increase the brightness automatically depending on the environment, but the adjustment does not affect the color palette.
