KitKat Android 4.4 Update: Samsung Galaxy Note 2 Gets OmniROM ... - International Business Times

The Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update for the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 may not yet be available over-the-air, but users can already test in October KitKat Android 4.4 device on Their 2012 courtesy of OmniROM.

The Galaxy Note 2 has been running Android 4.1 Jelly Bean since its release in September 2012; models manufactured only months after its release happen to run Android 4.1.2 instead of 4.1.1. The Galaxy Note 2 is Currently scheduled to update to Android 4.3 Jelly, possibly the early the next Wednesday; However, this is not confirmed. For now, tech savvy Galaxy Note 2 owners may just have to make due with running a custom Android 4.4 ROM on Their handsets.
