Samsung has no plans to launch the Galaxy Note 5 worldwide. Some important markets such as Europe, have largely remained off the list of countries that will receive the news. This resulted in a public petition for the company to rethink its release frame and take the new phablet for the region.
Later, we saw the device to be registered by the FCC, US agency that certifies smartphones to the market local. However, the documentation was revealed the model SM-N920F . Usually we see Samsung to use the letter ‘F’ at the end of a smartphone model to describe a variant for the European market. So bets that South Korea would have gone back on leave Europe out are very high.
Now, we see the SM-N920F model rise in benchmark, in this case the GeekBench coming revealing various specifications of models not yet released. If you analyze the image goes up realizing that the European version of Note 5 comes with less memory than the version announced by Samsung earlier this month.
The SM-N920F has only 3 GB RAM – which 2698 MB are available for the system. We have seen the comparative Note 5 against other flagships, including the iPhone 6 launched last year, where the new phablet Samsung even with 4 GB of RAM showed a lower performance. With this version with less memory to be released, will the performance will be further sacrificed?
One of the few advantages of the Galaxy Note 5 with respect to S6, launched in the beginning, is the additional 1 GB RAM. Since the chipset is the same Exynos 7420 as before, and the same camera sensors, the same design and finish, not to mention the same problems of TouchWiz. Thus, the line Note will lose its superiority against the S line further and becomes just one more smartphone that comes with the S Pen to improve productivity.
Does the Brazilian version of the Galaxy Note 5 will come with 3 or 4 GB of RAM?
