Recently we have seen a comparison between the Galaxy Note 5, OnePlus Two and LG G4. The speed test was aimed to measure who opens a dozen applications more quickly, and to identify which of them manages to keep as much of these background applications open. Even come with 4 GB of RAM, the phablet Samsung struggled to keep multiple applications open, which did the same to be penalized and almost lost in the test for LG G4.
Now, one was revealed new video which shows that the situation is even more serious. With Android 5.0 , all smartphones, not just Samsung, have come under the memory leak problem Lollipop, which made the device to stay with little free memory and forced apps user to be closed. However, the Galaxy Note 5 already comes with the latest version of the system, where this leak has been fixed, but the TouchWiz can make the problem is even more aggravating.
When you watch the video above, we can Note that the Galaxy Note 5 is failing to keep any open application. The test is done in comparison with the Nexus 6. Both are restarted, so basic applications are open everyday as Twitter, YouTube, Instagram and others. In the first stage, we see that the Note 5 really excited and leaves nothing to be desired, quickly opening all tested apps. However, when you come back for some of them it is necessary to wait for the smartphone Samsung reload the content, which does not happen with the Nexus 6.
But why does this happen? Some believe that the company is applying some aggressive policy to save energy. Perhaps because the Note 5 have come with battery lower than its predecessor, you do not want to risk that autonomy is sacrificed. Actually, we got to see a test that shows that the battery life of the new phablet of the company is higher than the last generation. But it is worth sacrificing performance so?
Maybe force all apps to be refilled not the best solution because it demands CPU processing. It would be more logical to leave it open in the background, as the Galaxy Note 5 comes with 4 GB of RAM and need to take advantage of it. The problem does not only affect the phablet with S Pen of South Korea, but the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus is also this. The TouchWiz has always been criticized and, apparently, Samsung has not yet learned the lesson. Now we can only expect the company to release an update that removes this aggressive policy of low consumption.
