Samsung will apparently advance the launch of its new line Note phablet in 2015, thus seeking to introduce you to the world with the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus. After a famous publication in The Wall Street Journal and also in The Korea Herald, came the turn of the known portal SamMobile talking about the announcement of new devices, nailing both presentation date for the next August 12 .
According to the information collected by the site to “internal sources” in the company, both devices must reach the international market already on August 21 , near the beginning of the Samsung Pay US operations. It notes that a simultaneous launch of two similarly sized models can cause an end cannibalizing sales from the other, since the hardware of them will be basically the same, with the Galaxy Note 5 with only the “little” difference of S- Pen and all its functions geared for productivity.
On the characteristics of both devices, it is said that New Stylus is really more like a pen itself, including counting with improved ergonomics that really will feel to be holding the traditional tool. Moreover, the note must have 5 even with the aluminum body and the rear glass, and having thin edges and being sold in black, white, gold and silver.
But the S6 Edge + (how it should be marketed) is basically a larger version of the current Galaxy S6 Edge, with the same curved display for both sides, but this time with a diagonal of 5 , 7 inches . According to SamMobile, all other specifications will be maintained, as the Exynos 7420 and 3GB of RAM.
As you can see, the Galaxy Note 5 is actually the most powerful model announced by Samsung for the second half of this year, as it will feature the brand new Exynos 7422 and 4GB of RAM LPDDR4, thus ensuring a considerably better performance than the already fast Galaxy S6.
So far, however, none of the released information was confirmed by South Korea, with even a statement from the president himself of the company that the release schedule for the second half of this year will be similar to what was seen in 2014, with no possibility of Note 5 be submitted before September.
If the information is true, however, there are only a few weeks so let’s see what features the Galaxy Note 5 and also the Galaxy S6 Edge +, giving us a better idea of the plans Samsung for the second half of 2015.
