The Samsung took a big step by introducing more noble materials in Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge, but sacrificed some features much appreciated by fans of the brand, as the microSD card slot and a removable battery. As the line Galaxy Note always draws the main launch of the Galaxy S line, it’s likely that Samsung also sure to use a microSD card slot on the Galaxy Note 5, due for release in August this year .
But a paper for the American Sprint phone carrier details the specifications Note 5 and puts the word “yes” right next to “external memory slot”, which can be a clue that Samsung rethought your attitude to pull off the entrance to the memory card of your major appliances. See the image below in the highlighted part:
The same document also details the Galaxy Note 5 will come with Android 5.1 pre-loaded Lollipop, and bring the same set of camera / camera present in the Galaxy S6, and the front sensor of 5 MP and 16 MP rear. The screen resolution remains in Quad HD, not in 4K resolution as expected by some
The document looks legitimate and it was to be taken down, but the concept also seems a bit odd:. After all, Samsung’s decision to proceed with the storage technology UFS 2.0 present in Galaxy S6 makes the concept of microSD card slot is incompatible with cutting-edge features of the company, but a commercial appeal and the desire not to disappoint your customers can do the company again allow external storage on their devices.
