Rumors about the Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge Plus pop up every day. No wonder, after all, the launch may be close as pointed by some sources. Now, both models just pass FCC certification, American governing body that certifies telephony products. This helps indicate we can really see the launch of the new Samsung smartphones already in August. Or rather, on June 12 as many claim
Analyzing the document revealed by the FCC, we can see that the two models already have authorization to work in the networks of operators AT &. T and Verizon. The model SM-N920A is the version of the Galaxy Note 5 for the operator AT & T to support the frequency bands LTE 2, 4 and 17. Already the number SM-G928A refers to the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus the same operator. For Verizon, the number is almost the same for both devices, changing only the letter ‘A’ with ‘V’. Thus we have the models SM-N920V with support for LTE bands 2, 4:13, and the SM-G928V .
Only reference level, the Galaxy Note 4 was recorded in AT & T and Verizon as SM-N910A and SM-N910V respectively. While the Galaxy S6 Edge came with the numbering SM-G625A and SM-G925V. With this we can really conclude that the new flagship of the South Korean coming soon, at least on American soil. Since the previous rumors indicate that the European market will not see the Galaxy Note 5 on its release.
Unfortunately, the FCC body does not reveal details of the devices specifications. With this, we can only think that data leaked earlier’re right. Thus, the Galaxy Note 5 may come with Quad HD screen of 5.7 inches, Exynos 7422 and 4GB of RAM. While the S6 Edge Plus is contemplated to come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 chipset, screen 5.5 inch Quad HD and 3GB of RAM.
