A few weeks ago came a rumor that left some fans of the Galaxy Note line concerned. It alleged that Samsung would be testing their first AMOLED panels with Ultra HD resolution (better known as 4K), and the Note 5 as a guinea pig to be the first smartphone market to come with such a resolution. This could end up affecting consumption and graphics performance, the South Korean could not make a right and optimization. However, a new source informs that this should not happen.
According to a contact connected to the company, Samsung intends to maintain the same resolution Quad HD Galaxy Note 4 in your successor . However, the company aims to further increase screen that may reach 5.9 inches. This reason is related to the fact that Samsung is studying a way to get your even thinner phablet (as it did with the Galaxy S6), but without sacrificing battery. Thus, it is possible to have a device with only 7,9mm (8.5mm against the Note 4) and a generous battery 4.100mAh.
With the increase of the screen, it is also expected that the new Galaxy Note is slightly higher. But unfortunately, the source did not report the possible measures of the same. Anyway, if you need to grow a few millimeters and in return to earn a long battery life, so many fans of the Note line should be satisfied with the Samsung choices. It is also commented that Note 5 will feature a turbocharged version of the Exynos 7420, still faster and more economical thanks to the maturation in the manufacturing process to 14nm.
Another innovation that was premiered at the Galaxy S6 will also be present here. We are talking about 2.0 coveted UFS memories that outperform the eMMC 5.0 memories used in smartphones from other manufacturers. We do not know if it will be exactly the same model, or if Samsung plans to bring an even faster version of its new phablet. Anyway, it seems that speed is the codename of the Galaxy Note 5. Where the source also says that it will be the first Galaxy to rely on the new standard USB Type-C that combined with USB 3.1 will deliver a transfer rate up to 10Gb / s! Not only that, but also noting that the Note 5 microUSB port supports up to 100W load, which will cause the battery to charge absurdly fast.
Want more? This micro USB port comes with native support for Ultra HD resolution. That is, you can connect your Galaxy Note 5 on any monitor or TV via USB and view your recorded videos in 4K by model camera. We have seen recently that Android M also has this support but Samsung has plans to incorporate the novelty even in the Lollipop , since the new version of the little robot will only be released to the market after being announced by Note 5 Samsung.
Remember that nothing reviewed here came from officially by Samsung. As it is all rumors, we must wait for the launch event which is scheduled for September during the Technology Fair IFA 2015 to be held in Berlin.
