AMOLED screens from Samsung are among the specialties and logically equip its main devices. The new Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge were chosen by DisplayMate and smartphones with the best market AMOLED screens currently, but a tip published on XDA forum promises to activate a hidden menu which increases the on-screen configuration possibilities of the Galaxy S6, serving also to Note 4 .
The main Samsung devices have the Adaptive Display which increases the brightness up to 600 nits, ensuring better air to display free but may seem too saturated for more watchful eyes. The problem can be improved substantially when activating a hidden Adaptive Display mode, with options AMOLED AMOLED film and photo.
If you suffer with the problem cited above and are interested in activating the extra feature, just follow one of the following tutorials. Does not require root access
a) With the New Launcher
- Install New Launcher;.
- Give a long press on an empty area of the desktop, choose the options “Widgets”, “Activities”;
- Select “Settings” and then take a long press on the “ModePreviewTablet” option;
- Then just select the new option available on the main screen and then select “Adapt Display”, followed by a tap OK. You can also follow this step through the video tutorial below.
b) With More Application Shortcuts
- Install “More Shortcuts”;
- Select the “Activity” option, “Settings”, and ModePreviewTablet;
- Touch the small blue arrow on the right side, open the Activity on the main screen and select the desired mode.
Unlike the standard Adaptive Display menu, to activate the hidden mode you can achieve less saturated images, less yellowing and greater fidelity presentation of colors, while maintaining the brightness option of automatic screen.
