iPhone 6 Plus is, of course, the most expensive smartphone that money can buy. The Galaxy Note 4 is no exception and is very convenient when it comes to having the best of a platform at a very high value. On the one hand we have the best of iOS and the other the best that Samsung can deliver on a device by the end of 2014. Nothing more fair than putting each, side by side, in a competition of who has better performance, better design and camera, right? That’s exactly what you will see in the next lines.
design
Both smartphones are great, huge and occupy a generous space inside a pants pocket jeans. While Apple adopts a design almost completely made of metal, Samsung finally responded to requests and began to replace the plastic of their more expensive devices, a material that really gives the sensation of robustness – and it worked. We do not have a Galaxy Note all-aluminum, but the metal side gives a sense of completion premium of fact, while the rear plastic is still the same plastic-typical-of-Samsung . On Footprint iPhone comes out ahead and delivering more rounded edges and improves ergonomics (even with a gigantic size, which takes part of this positive), Samsung will have more straight lines and a more adhesive back.
Hardware
The Galaxy Note 4 model that is sold in Brazil came with a Exynos 5433 processor with eight cores, with four runs on 1.3 GHz and four wheel at 1.9 GHz, accompanied by 3 GB of RAM, GPU Mali-T760 and 32 GB of internal space – with possibility of adding another 128 GB on a microSD. But the iPhone will A8 chip with two cores running at 1.4 GHz, accompanied by 1 GB of RAM, GPU PowerVR GX6450 and 16 GB of internal memory – which can be 64 GB or 128 GB then, with prices that come with memory extra. Opening everyday apps (Facebook, Twitter and Instagram), the difference is almost zero and both platforms open programs almost at the same time (with the exception of Twitter, which first opened in Note 4). In heavy games, both devices swirled well Asphalt 8 and no choking during gaming. This difference almost nonexistent in the performance of both sides shows that even with a much lower hardware, optimizing the software that receives the iOS makes the processor and GPU wo rk much smarter than the six extra cores that the Note 4 loads – TouchWiz is also responsible for taking up so much of the performance and not release anything to the user
Camera
. In photos of everyday life, we can live well over results with Note 4 images with good light conditions. The iPhone 6 Plus does not ugly, but the Note 4 can better values in all situations where we draw the device to take pictures. In night shots the difference is quite striking, with more brightness into the Galaxy Note camera and least amount of granulated.
Conclusion
There is a difference hardware garish between the iPhone 6 Plus and the Galaxy Note 4, does not match the performance – with six extra cores and 2GB more RAM, the Note 4 should fly. The iPhone loses (ugly) on the camera and lets the user in hand when it comes to memory – they would not be expanding for a microSD card. Android is not behind when we look iOS, how is Windows Phone. Taking into account the price that we can find the Note 4 today and it comes with twice the internal memory than the iPhone 6 Plus, your money ends up being higher and this makes this comparative champion crown is at the head of Samsung.
