Samsung announced on Tuesday (18), the Galaxy line of devices that will receive the upgrade to Android 4.4 “KitKat”. The list includes smartphones and tablets launched in the past two years, as the Galaxy S3 and Note 2, and that will support the latest version of Google’s system. The updates should be distributed in the coming months, with no confirmed dates for each of the models.

Among the smartphones that will receive the Android 4.4 “KitKat” are the Galaxy S4, S4 Mini Zoom S4, S4 Active, Galaxy S3, S3 Mini Mega and probably the versions 5.8 and 6.3 inches. Have a list of tablets that the company will receive the update is a bit smaller. The latest version of Android should get on line 3 and the Galaxy Tab Galaxys Note 8.0, 10.1 and 10.1 (2014 Edition). According to Samsung, the update will bring improvements to the menu of the device, the messaging apps and Google services.
Although Samsung has confirmed the update of these models, the updates will only be available in the coming months. Moreover, as it is a list of American models, there is a possibility to add some handset manufacturer released here among those who will receive the Android 4.4 “KitKat”.
