Galaxy Note 4 with Exynos win support Gear VR in new … – Tudocelular.com

Samsung has shown great interest in the virtual reality market to bring your product Gear VR , a device created in partnership with the Oculus Rift , which allows you to connect your smartphone to special glasses and can see various types of content such as movies, games and even realistic interaction in a whole new way. The news was announced along with the Galaxy Note 4 during event dedicated to IFA 2014 , but was initially attached to the variant with Snapdragon chipset. Now, the South Korean just reported that the owners of the variant with Exynos hardware can also explore this new world of three-dimensional virtualization.

The product was initially released only in the US and European markets, where the variant with Snapdragon 805 is sold. Now with the arrival of Lollipop to Note 4 with Exynos, Samsung could also include support to its own chipset. This means that the South Korean giant can launch your Gear VR in other countries.

Remember that the Lollipop is still in the testing phase in the version 5.0.1 . Only a few countries have received the update, such as Poland which has variant SM-910C , the same sold in Brazil. The first firmware Lollipop was released in February and still sins at the lack of optimization in some system elements, such as the recent screen. Today (19/03), Samsung released a new version that in addition to providing support for Gear VR also solved some problems of the initial build.

There is still no date of when the novelty will reach the national model . Samsung had promised the release this month, but before the delay caused due to bugs found in the system code, the development turned out to be paralyzed for a while. Now, it seems that Samsung has finally found the problem caused and began again to release the Lollipop not only to Note 4, but also to the company’s other models.
