Android 4.3 Jelly Bean Release Date Arrives: U.S. Cellular Galaxy ... - International Business Times

The Android 4.3 Jelly Bean rollout for U.S. models of the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 continues with the U.S. Note 2 now receiving the update. Both Samsung and U.S. Cellular Announced the over-the-air update on Tuesday.

The Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update for Samsung Galaxy several models in the U.S. and overseas has been tedious. Both the Samsung Galaxy Galaxy S3 and S4 Suffered bugs and other post-update issues, Which Caused Samsung to postpone rollouts for the team. Some U.S. Galaxy S4 Galaxy S3 models and international models have now resumed the Android 4.3 update.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 largely evaded any issues with Android 4.3 simply because the device did not receive the update until after Samsung Began fixing bugs. So far only the Sprint Galaxy Note 2 has updated to Android 4.3 in the U.S., shortly after the Galaxy S4 and Galaxy S3 bug issues came to light. The Sprint Galaxy Note 2 Appears to have updated with little to no issues with Android 4.3. Other Samsung Galaxy models, Which later updated, include the Sprint, AT & T, T-Mobile, and U.S. Cellular Galaxy Note 3 and the T-Mobile Galaxy S4. The international Galaxy Note 2 model Also updated just before the Sprint 2 Note, Galaxy Note 2 and Canadian models Began to update just days prior to the U.S. Cellular Note 2. These models Also Appear to have updated with little to no issues with Android 4.3.

The Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update for the Galaxy S3 includes features such as the Samsung Samsung Galaxy Gear KNOX and support, as well as Premium Suite features including Play Group 2.5, Multi-Window (Galaxy Note Version 3), Sound & Shot camera feature, Group Messaging, Samsung Link and PEN. UP.

The

R950VXAMK3 build firmware is currently available over-the-air. As always, users can manually check for the update by Accessing Settings> About device> Software update.

It Appears the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 has completely veered off the leaked update timeline, Which accurately predicted the Android 4.3 rollout dates for several Samsung Galaxy Models. Notably U.S. Cellular was not included in the timeline, but has still received its update well before other carriers. Only the Sprint Galaxy Note 2 According to the updated schedule.

The

AT & T, T-Mobile and Verizon models were supposed to have updated by now, but have not. Rollout dates for these models are uncertain; However, According to Samsung’s website, the AT & T Galaxy Note runs Android 4.3 3. At this point, this may simply be a typo, or possibly an indication que the update is coming soon; Likely rollouts will be sudden and unexpected. Currently the AT & T, T-Mobile and Verizon Galaxy Note 2 models still run all the native Android 4.1 firmware.
