Now we are all waiting for the next phablet top of the range Samsung, which should no longer be long. Until now we were sure of the name of the next device. However, Samsung changed us the twists and named this phablet with another name. This will not be the Galaxy Note 6 but rather the Galaxy Note 7.
Apparently, the main reason for the South Korean brand decide to jump the number 6 and go straight to 7 has to do with consistency. That is, Samsung wants all its range of tops launched in the same year have the same number. Therefore, in 2016 we will have the Galaxy S7, Galaxy S7 edge and the Galaxy Note 7, so no one will make confusion with the possibility of Note 6 is a previous generation Galaxy S7.
Another reason for this decision may be competition between Samsung and Apple. Since this year Apple will launch the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, maybe Samsung intends to follow the line of rival launches. If it had chosen the name Note 6, and this will compete with the iPhone 7 Plus, users could mistakenly assume that this would be older than the Apple device.
If still do not know many details about its specifications, but some reports suggest that it will equipped with a dual-edge curved display. It will also have a curved glass at the rear, as their predecessors.
According to some reports, Samsung will launch this Note 7 in August and will be available before the 20th of this month.
