Yes, yet another case of a student and an Death Note and as has become tradition the story could only come from the USA.

Lakewood Middle School in Ohio has suspended a student for three days after a teacher to find a Death Note with the name of several students. The agent Chris Slayman went to the school after the complaint on 14 March and passed the case to a detective listing the offense as panic inducing.

In the school statement we read that the student was participating the “Fandom Day” as part of a campaign fundraising and that the book was a student of the prop who had dressed as the main character of the anime series Death Note . The school informed the staff and researchers on the anime and manga and said it “found no evidence that planning to student doing harm to colleagues or that there would be plans in addition to put in the book the name of the students’

Back in October 2015 a school in New Hampshire also decided to discipline a student because of a Death Note . You can read here the news.

Death Note is a sleeve Tsugumi Ohba (history) and Takeshi Obata (art ) which has already suffered several live-action and anime adaptations and whose story follows a teenager who found the book with which to kill to write on it the name of the people and how they die.
