Nearly two months after the launch of the Galaxy Note 3, many users are probably waiting for a CyanogenMod ROM for the device. Well, if you’re the type who sees no problem in resorting to immature ROMs, then you can now look at a 11 CyanogenMod (CM 11) unofficial compilation is available for the latest phablet from Samsung (for the quad-core variant, SM -N9005).
The CyanogenMod team recently released the sources for the device from the Korean, but not yet released their own ROM. That has not stopped some developers at XDA forums put their hands to work and prepare a first draft.
As previously mentioned, and occurs with the first releases of third-party alternatives, the ROM is not recommended for daily use with the absence of some important features including NFC, audio, camera and radio. But the release of this first ROM indicates that the work should evolve further in the next week. 11 CyanogenMod ROM for the Galaxy Note 3 is based on the latest Android 4.4.2, and users interested should weigh Rocks in relinquishing software features extremely useful and present only in stock Samsung version (like the S Pen functionality for).
