It has been reported here in MobileXpert that Samsung has updated the Galaxy Note 3 for version 4.4.2 of Android. The Galaxy S4 will be the next to receive the official update for the Kit-Kat and as has been speculated the Galaxy S3 and Note 2 are also very close to get the update. Although there is no special statement of an informant Samsung ensures that the company will release an update soon.
This information comes from the site AndroidGeeks. They contacted an internal source from Samsung in order to obtain information on the updates mentioned above. According to them, a developer has obtained information that two devices will be upgraded to the KitKat, Galaxy S3 and Galaxy Note 2. This should happen at the end of the first quarter of 2014, shortly after the Galaxy S4 be updated. Also according to him, the changes that will bring these updates will be minimal.
As is already known to many of you, the updates do not happen on all devices simultaneously. They are released in packets. So it may be that even after that date still takes for your device to be updated.
