[Samsung offers Android 4.4.2 for Galaxy Note KitKat 2] – Xpert Mobile

Samsung continues updating many of its Galaxy line of devices released in the last two years for KitKat. Starting today is the turn of phablet Samsung Galaxy Note II already started receceber the latest version of the Android operating system in some countries. Initially

the upgrade to Android 4.4.2 is available via KIES and FOTA to the GT-N7100 model sold in France, but it will be a matter of days for the update to be available in more countries.

As with other devices, this update adds some new features of Android 4.4 (KitKat ), small changes in TouchWiz interface and the incorporation of Samsung applications and Knox Wallet. Below you can see the details of firmware and tutorial for manual update via Odin: />

UPDATE – You can follow the steps below or check out a video tutorial on our special field for the Galaxy S4 clicking here (This is the same) <. / div>
– Unpack (unzip) the zip file
– Download Odin3 v3.07 (click here) or more current version />
– Restart your smartphone into download mode (Pressing and holding the Home + Power + Volume Down buttons)
– Connect your smartphone and wait until the blue sign in Odin

a) Add the file PDA corresponding to the end. tar.md5 />  b) Add the file Phone Modem />  c) Add the CSC CSC file
 (Skip steps b and c in case no files)
 - Make sure that the RE-PARTITION is unchecked />  - Click the Start button, and wait a few minutes />  - If you encounter any stability issue (FC, bootloop, etc)
 - Reboot into recovery mode (Home + power + high vol)
 - Select wipe / factory reset. (This will erase ALL DATA!)

– Select reboot and “voilà”!
