The Galaxy Note 3 Neo is a remarkable model of Samsung because it was the first time South Korea have settled bet on a more basic version of its acclaimed phablet. While Note 3 came in two versions with quad-core chipset Snapdragon 800 and another with octa-core version with Exynos 5420 , the most basic lost two Cortex-A15 cores, bringing a hexa-core solution that was hitherto unheard of for Samsung. Usually the company never gave much attention to models derived from receiving the title of Neo, Lite, Pocket, among others, but according to rumors revealed two months ago, the Note 3 Neo also receive updates to the Lollipop as well as their more stocky brother.
Launched with Android 4.3 Last year, the Galaxy Note 3 Neo received update for the KikKat 4.4 end of year. However, so far we have not had more solid evidence that it would also receive the Lollipop. Samsung France had reported earlier that the count device with the new version of Android later this year, but no more precise date was given by the company.
