S4 Galaxy, Galaxy S3, Galaxy Note Android 4.3 Update 2 Roundup ... - Gotta Be Mobile

Believe it or not, the Samsung Galaxy S4, Samsung Galaxy S3, Samsung Galaxy Note 2, and Samsung Galaxy Nexus Android 4.3 Jelly Bean updates are rolling out to users around the world still. We have been tracking the many missing updates and the we can find here, we breakdown the situation is still meddling Those Who Are on Android 4.1 and Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.

Back in July of last year, Google Announced Android 4.3 Jelly Bean alongside the Nexus 7, 2013. The update almost immediately rolled out for Google’s Nexus stable of smartphones and tablets. And while the road to Android 4.3 Jelly Bean was extremely short for some users, the journey to Android 4.3 has been a long and arduous one for others.

For many devices, Android 4.3 Jelly Bean Represents far more than an incremental update. In the case of Samsung’s Galaxy devices, it brings support for its Galaxy Gear, it brings Samsung Knox for added security and it brings some of the newer software features found on the likes of the Galaxy Note and Galaxy S4 3.

these promised updates to Samsung Galaxy S4, S3 and Galaxy 2 Galaxy Note owners in October though at the team, it did not say how long the roll out would take. And here we are.

While many Android 4.3 Jelly Bean updates have landed for Galaxy S4, Galaxy Note 2 and Galaxy S3 owners, there are still some que are missing, due to some delays.

What’s even more incredible is que there are still some Galaxy Nexus Android 4.3 updates que remain missing as well.

With all of

que in mind, we want to take another look at everything we know about these missing Android 4.3 Jelly Bean updates for the Galaxy S4, Galaxy S3, Galaxy Note 2, and Galaxy Nexus and fill in the many blanks the we possibly can.

Samsung Galaxy Nexus

Galaxy-Nexus-4.2-Update-575x3051

Galaxy-Nexus-4.2-Update-575x3051

We’ll start with the most glaring omissions first. Yes, there are still some out there que carriers have yet to roll out Android 4.3 Jelly Bean for the Samsung Galaxy Nexus.

The Galaxy Nexus’ Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update was first Announced all the way back in July and many carriers Believed That would at least get the update out in. 2013. Some, like Sprint did. Others have yet to roll out Their updates.

trio of Australian carriers recently Announced intentions to Android 4.3 Jelly Bean to bring the Galaxy Nexus. Vodafone’s Galaxy Nexus Android 4.3 update has been awaiting its FOTA team now for some dates. The carrier says it has completed testing que so it’s not clear what’s holding up the OTA.

Optus approved its version of the Galaxy Nexus Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update on February 14th que and it says the update will be rolling out in. the coming weeks. It does not provide a specific date so it’s not clear When it will start pushing or When complete it will.

Finally, Telstra claims its que update is in testing. It said que its target release date was February 25th but we still have not seen any Galaxy Nexus owners report que the update is rolling in October Seems like it has hit a snag mysterious as well.

Of course, the situation Could be a lot worse. The Verizon Galaxy Nexus Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update is Also missing but the carrier has provided exactly zero details about its release. Gotta Be Mobile was told, back in 2013, that the update was still coming but the carrier has yet to Provide a specific date.

Verizon spokesman recently updated the situation, saying que he still does not have a time frame to share just yet.

Samsung Galaxy S4

The Samsung Galaxy S4 Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update finished up in the United States back in December. The stragglers, Which included Verizon pushed the update live right in the thick of the holiday shopping season, bringing support to Galaxy Gear shoppers just in time.

Since then, we’ve seen a number of Galaxy S4 Android 4.3 Jelly Bean updates push out though there are, by our count, still three major Android 4.3 updates que remain missing. And yes, They are all in Australia for some reason.

several weeks ago Telstra Claimed That It has yet to receive the Galaxy S4 4G Android 4.4 update from Samsung KitKat. While its status may have changed since then, the carrier is not saying. So for now, users are simply left with a mid-March release date possible, one que certainly has not been set in stone.

Optus recently updated its schedule and now says the Galaxy S4 que que 4G update was delayed many months ago is on track for a release in early March. Again, things could be worse.

Vodafone literally just Announced Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update its for the Galaxy S4 and 4G que says the update’s testing has been scheduled. That means That It’s Likely still a few weeks in October

We

que imagine there are other Galaxy S4 Android 4.3 updates que remain missing though not every carrier is open with que information. Australian carriers in particular love to keep Their user base updated, for better or worse.

Samsung Galaxy S3

Galaxy S3

Galaxy S3

The bad news is there are still some que missing Galaxy S3 Android 4.3 Jelly Bean updates missing. The good news is that we’re getting closer to the end.

Once again, two of the most glaring absentees are Galaxy S3 Android 4.3 Jelly Bean updates from Australian carriers. U.S. updates completed back in December.

Earlier this week, Vodafone rolled October its 3G Galaxy S3 Android 4.3 update putting the pressure on Telstra and Optus to do the same. Telstra claims que the update is in testing and Should land in early March. Optus users are in even worse shape as it looks like the update was recently delayed due to a critical issue. The carrier now says to expect it in early-to-mid March.

We’re hearing

que ThreeUK Also, the carrier in the United Kingdom, has yet to roll out its update. The carrier recently Suggested That was because of a critical issue que Samsung needed to fix. The carrier recently told one user que it does not still have a date for the upgrade so it looks like the update is either unreleased or is Rolling Out extremely slow.

Samsung Galaxy Note 2

Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Video - 020

The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 is in pretty good shape, from what we can tell. All of these carriers have pushed Their Galaxy Note 2 Android 4.3 Jelly Bean updates live and we have not been able to track down any other save for one missing updates.

ThreeUK que owners claim the Galaxy Note Android 4.3 update 2 For Their remains missing device and it Appears que the carrier still does not have a release date to share. We imagine que the updates will roll out soon, Android 4.4 was just considering KitKat Announced for the Galaxy Note 2 in the U.S. and in Poland but we can not confirm that.
